Volkswagen Amarok: A Car With A Bang!
All You Need to Know About Engine Factors of Volkswagen Amarok
Volkswagen Amarok has been a carrying truck of medium size by the Volkwagen Commercial Vehicles. This truck featured with dual cab system, options of rear-wheel drive or 4motion wheel drive and it includes two engine type Turbocharged Direct Injection as well as turbocharged gasoline. Its TDI engines include FSI, Fuel Stratified Injection and also the common rail diesel engine. According to VWCV, a number of trucks are similar to Amarok like Mitsubishi Triton, Nissan Navara and Toyota Hilux, the only difference is that Amarok is a bit huge.
Engine That Produce High Torque with Less Power
Its engines are inspired from VW T5 that is modified to produce more torque with less power consumption. The basic version engine generates 90 kW 122 PS & 121 hp that produces highest torque of 340 N.m in 200 rpm. On the other hand, the ultimate version or bi turbo engine generates 163 PS & 161 hp that produces highest torque of 400 N.m in 1500 rpm.
The manufacturers have taken care of fuel efficiency since the minimum consumption of fuel is 7.6 L/100 km while driving real wheel drive variation and the maximum fuel consumption while on 4-motion is one thousand kilometer that is without filling fuel for the first time. However, the fuel efficiency will not drop before at least one year and if took care properly, then it can run longer.
Changes in Power of Engines
In the year 2012, the manufacturer feels the need to add to more engines, after consideration instead of adding they decided to configure previous engines like 2.0 L TDI 90 kW powers was raised and made it 2.0 L TDI 103 kW. Same procedure was performed with 2.0 L Bi-TDI, where they added an optional ZF technology with automatic transmission.
