Subaru Tribeca: Time To Say Goodbye To Your Old Car

Manufactured by the Japanese manufacturer Fuji, Subaru Tribeca is basically a crossover mid-size SUV. The vehicle was brought out in the market in the year 2005.

Different Names for Different Locations

Subaru 89 was released in some other areas as Subaru B9 Tribeca. It was a name that was inspired by neighboring location of New York, Tribeca city.

Subaru Features

Subaru is built on its legacy platform and has the following features.

- The vehicle is sold in both 5 as well as 7 seat arrangements.

- The vehicle is sold side by side with Saab 9-6 that can be considered as somewhat revised version. It is also one of the subsidiaries of the GM Company.

Design Features

Design of the Tribeca gets its inspiration from B9X concept cars. Basic design of the Tribeca was in for some criticism on the design aspects. Such criticism inspired the manufacturers to make some changes in the design after two years in 2007. One of the revisions made was to change the name to Tribeca for all locations.

Acceptance and Refusal

Tribeca was not marketed in Japan despite being manufactured by a Japanese company. However it was marketed in North America in 2006 being introduced towards the end of the year 2005. Buyers of Australasia got the opportunity to try their hands on the model towards the end of 2006, a year later than the North Americans.

Other Markets

Tribeca is also available in some other countries. Important markets for the vehicle are South East Asia, China, Argentina, and Chile.
