Produced and marketed by Fuji Motor, Subaru Forester is sold under the brand name Subaru and has been available in Japan since the year 1997 and even shares the same platform with the model Impreza. It was initially introduced as a wagon crossover in the year 1992 but during the course of ten years gave way to formation of a SUV crossover of mid-size.

Subaru Forester in its Fourth Generation:

The model was unveiled at the show of Guangzhou in the year 2012. The Japanese model thus had its onset of sale from the year 2012 in November. The early models of this brand include 2.oi-L Eyesight, 2.0xT (280 PS), 2.0i, 2.0i-L, 2.0I-S Eyesight and such engine models have the facility of the transmission of Lineartonic CVT. The model in US had begun their sale from the onset of March 2013 and these models had their base as 2.5i. The Forester Highline models of 2014 which have been expected to be equipped by CVT will also feature Hill Decent Control as well as control feature of x-mode.
