Spacious Vehicle For The Present Generation From Seat

According to the needs and demands of the vehicle passionate, automakers have designed vehicles with lot of boot space for comfort and free movement of passengers. In the same way, this SEAT Altea is created by a Spanish manufacturer name SEAT ever since 2004. This is a compressed and multipurpose vehicle for the people. In fact, this vehicle was designed mainly by an Italian Walter de Silva and later it was launched in the year 2004 as the initial example of the SEAT’ creativity and new commercial look.

Versions available in Seat

Altea XL is another extended version which has been presented first at the Paris motor show in the year 2006. And in 2007, Altea Freetrack with higher suspension system and 4WD was released in the market. It was released a few years after when many of its challengers arrived on the platform. Though there was presence of competitors, it got better sales. In fact, it crossed the expectations and got sales of 31,223 Alteas in the first year itself.

Family based vehicle

This Alteas is completely a family based vehicle with 5 seater arrangement to reveal a sportive image to its rivals. And fully, this model is based on Volkswagen group A5 podium. In this, the strange design feature is the vertical parked windscreen wipers mainly planned to bring changes and improvement in the safety of pedestrian. These disappear into the window borders on either side of the window screen. It is completely a swept windscreen and is not like pillars which are wide and cause an unsighted spot.

Variants and trim levels

In this, you have six trim levels. They are: Reference, stylance, reference spot, Essence and sport which is not available in United Kingdom and FR. In case of engine features, it has internal combustion engine with a range topping of 2.0 FR, a turbo charged Direct Injection to deliver 125 k watts of power. This model is available since 2006 April. You have 4 gear boxes according to the engine and demand in the market. There is 5 to 6 speed manual transmission, 6 or 7 speed direct shift gear box and a 5 speed tip-tronic automatic feature. Above all, its name is derived from a Spanish city Altea.
