Ideal for Nuclear Family - Peugeot 308:

Designed and produced by Peugeot- French manufacturers of cars; Peugeot 308 is specially crafted to suit the needs of small family. The process of it being unveiled began on early June 5th 2007 and by late September 2007 the car was ready to be launched. With “Project T7” being the development code; Peugeot 308 was the very first among Peugeot models to be under X08 generation. With a wide range of engine options working both in petrol and diesel; the car has also received facelift on March 2011 and was even premiered on the show of Geneva Motor.

Availability of Hatchback:

308 of the Peugeot model possesses 5-door hatchback option and the availability of 3-door to the car has very limited stock in few markets. Peugeot manufacturer in 2010 announced the comeback of GTI model which is also known as GT in UK, with an add-on feature of turbocharged engine of the capacity 1.62 with bhp of 200.

Estate of Peugeot 308:

308 SW Prologue of the Peugeot model has a compact version of a station wagon and it was unveiled at the show of Frankfurt Motor. 308 SW also known in Australia as 308 Touring is available in seat version of 5 and 7. The Peugeot 308 has included further variation which includes X08 chassis and is named 3008 which is either MPV or SUV.

New Peugeot with Cabriolet:

The Cabriolet of 307 CC was replaced by the retractable hardtop present in 308 which folds the roof into boots within 20 seconds and provides 465 liters of boot space capacity.

Sedan Version of 308:

September 2001 saw Peugeot presenting 4-door of Sedan 308 in Chinese market. The version specially produced for the market in China was made by Dongfeng and has its base on the facelift 308 but differs much from European model, where the presence of large guile on the front, LED of different shapes and more chrome on the hips are present. The interior on the Chinese model is very much identical to European. With engine range 143 HP 2.0 16V and 1.6 16V 110HP and volume capacity of 508 litres, the 408 model joins 308 Sedan; though, the Chinese model is relatively of higher price.

Facelift conducted in 2011:

In the facelift of May 2011, Peugeot recently launched 308e-HDI, which is a micro-hybrid model which works on a stop-start technology. 3008-full hybrid was also announced at the time of launch and the version is now produced in South America.
