Opel Vectra: How To Maintain Your Car

The Opel Vectra was manufactured by Opel which is a large family car. In the UK, the Opel Vectra is sold as a Vauxhall marque as the Vauxhall cavalier and later from 1995 onwards it was being sold as the Vauxhall Vectra. This vehicle is being sold by different names such as of Holden it was sold as Holden Vectra and in Latin America by Chevrolet it is being sold as the Chevrolet Vectra.

Car touring car championship achievements

In the year 1988 this vigil was introduced in the market as a replacement of Opel Ascona. - In the super Tourenwagen cup Uwe Alzen was third in 1997-98 and was second in the year 1999

- In the 2000-2001 runner up was John Henderson in Australian super touring championship

- In the year 1995 British touring car championship John Cleland was champion and finished 3rd in the year 1992 and 4th in the year 1993-94

- In the 1999 in the six positions was Yvan Muller in the British touring car championship and in the year 2000 he stood 4th; in the 20002 Nicklas Karlsson was 3rd in the Swedish touring car championship.

In 2003 a model Vectra B was engineered to the BTC touring specifications which were built by triple 8 race engineering. With a view to use Vectra B in the 2004 BTCC, but unfortunately it never reached the racing field. Despite it was showcased publicly at the Birmingham motor show in the year 2004 as the Vectra diesel concept. In the year 2007 after being replaced by the Astra H in the BTC it was introduced again. In 2007-08 Fabrizo Giovanardi was the champion. In the 2009 season VX racing competed with 3 victories which were driven by Matt Neal, Andrew Jordon and Giovanardi.

This model has been used as a silhouette racing car: in 2000-2003 it was champion for 4 seasons in the stock car Brasil. Guillermo Ortelli was the champion of the Top race V6 Argentina in the year 2009 and after that has little success in 2004-05 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters.
