Opel Corsa: The Young’s Wheels

The success story of Opel Corsa

Opel Corsa this year brings a dynamic and bolder look with lower, taller and wider grill. Opel Corsa has been engineered and produced since 1982 by Opel which is a German automaker. The car has been sold with other brands like Holden, Chevrolet and Vauxhall and also generated several derivatives in separate markets.

The interiors are fresh and attractive giving enough space. Corsa is built in Germany and Spain. Opel also initiated Corsa’s sports version by Corsa OPC. This model has 1.6 litres of I4 turbo engine (192 PS and 189 hp). The standard Corsa has sporty seats, steering wheel (OPC) with gear knob and instrument dials. The exterior has front as well as rear bumper along with exhaust and the wind difusors.

Corsa models carry 1.4 litre engines that produce 74KW power with 130 Nm torque. These are high outputs compared to Toyota Yaris.

The rising growth

The car has stiffer as well as lower suspension compared to regular Corsa. The standard rim is of 17 inch, 18 inch being optional. Corsa OPC comes in 3 door versions. The first Corsa was sold on April, 1993 in Britain, since then the sales have increased to 1,371,573 only within a time span of 16 years by the time the car was in the third generation.
