The Nissan Sunny is a small and elegant car manufactured and marketed by the famous carmaker Nissan and different models and versions of Nissan Sunny were built and sold within 1966 and 2004 and its production again started in 2006.

The name given to it when it debuted in 1966 was Nissan Datsun 1000. The name is still in fashion in Chinese markets even after its production was stopped in 2004 in Japan.

Different Names and Market for Nissan Sunny

- When it was launched in the United States it was named as Nissan Sentra and for Mexican market it was renamed as Nissan Tsuru.

- The Nissan Sunny fitted perfectly with all the models made available by Nissan and it was bigger in size as compared to Nissan Micra models also called as March. But Nissan Sunny was not big and compact as compared to Models of range.

- The latest and advanced versions of Nissan Sunny that are coming are bigger and larger as compared to earlier models and the earlier versions were basically more compact cars.

- All of the Nissan Sunny models that were made after 1982 have engine motors of Nissan A.

The Nissan Sunny name became so popular that it was used for many more Nissan models and many more versions of export were also made from the same name.

The Nissan Sunny’s demand was very high and it was manufactured globally under various other names and styles. It was sold and marketed in Japan with the help of its Nissan Saito Store that is a special dealership sales channel of Nissan.

In 2004 the Nissan Sunny revamped as Nissan Latio and it used the Nissan Tiida platform. All this was implemented under its revival plan.
