Jeep Wrangler: Getting A Good Ride

Jeep Wrangler - The electronic jeep

Jeep Wrangler also a SUV manufactured by Chrysler, an American Automaker is a compressed vehicle with easy drive. Wrangler descends from the jeep of Willys military times, the CJ models of 1940’s. Later it was produced by the Kaiser jeep as well as the American Motors.

From where the Wrangler derived

Wrangler uses different body as well as frame with tuff live axles on both sides (Front as well as rear), folding flat windshield. One can drive this even without doors. The same tradition follows from their predecessors CJ Jeeps and Willys MB.

The first debut was in the year 1986 as revised version of Jeep CJ-7 then it was fully redesigned in the year 2006. Every model got a designation equivalent to the generations. For example, YJ (1986-1995), LJ’s (2003-2006), etc. The present one is JK. The military versions carry J8 designation.

About different models

The YJ model was manufactured from 1986 to 1992 at Brampton plant and then at Toledo Assembly plant. In the year 2006, the production moved to another supplier park (Toledo). Wranglers differed a little from predecessors, in earlier models grille were the flat and also front fenders. Wrangler has a grille angled towards the top and from midway point with straight line towards the bottom. This results in decreased hood length and increased fender’s length. In the current models, the angle is furthermore lowered towards the grille bottom.
