Hummer H1: Your Dream Car

Hummer H1 is a hardcore off-roading SUV based on M998 Humvee created by AM general. The vehicle was introduced in the market during 1992 through 2006. Initially, the H1 was known as the “Hummer”. However, in the year 1999, after the joint venture between AM general and General Motors, GM started marketing Hummer H2, which was built on the modified version of GMC 2500HD chassis. The original Hummer has been given the designation of H1.

For car enthusiasts, the most desirable model is the Hummer H1 Alpha, which was produced in the year 2006. It has got the most powerful engine and also the best fuel mileage of H1 models. On the whole, H1 is one of the limited vehicles produced in the world.

Hummer H1 was designed strictly for military purpose and later, it was released to the civilian market due to its popularity and demand. Boasting super-aggressive stance, 16 inches of ground clearance, and aggressive departure angles, Humvee can clamber over 22 inch obstacle.AM General announced that 2006 Hummer would be the last model and the production ended due to new emission laws for diesel vehicles.

It is a fuel-sucking monster, but it looks simply stunning, and happens to be one of the most desirable SUVs to own.
