Ford Ranger is a model basically sold by a company named Ford Motor. Ford Ranger was used in two different models of truck. One version was sold in NA and other regions of South America. There were models sold internationally as well.
In the meantime Ford also designed a North American edition of Ranger that started its manufacture in the year 1982 for a model year of 1983. It ended its production in the year 2011, December.

The Ranger is available in three engines one with 2.5L Duratec petrol engine, the second one and third one being 2.2L and 3.2LDuratorq.
The story of production
For the year 1995, Ford exported the model of North America to countries of South America. As the demand diminished, Ford started to produce its model at Argentina plant. During 1994, Mazda designed this model which was the B-series that replaced international edition of MazdaB series. In North America this model was retailed earlier.
During the 29th year of production, Ranger received many updates. The versions of South America and Latin were redesigned in 2009. It received the exterior metal sheet while scrapping existing body construction.
Market outside North America witnessed Ford Badge, the Japanese model of Mazda B series. Later it was renamed as Ranger in the year 1998. Models from second generation which was during the period from 2006-2011 were designed and modeled by Mazda. The third generation versions were produced from 2011 and were designed by Ford Australia along with Mazda that offered derived Ford version as second gen BT-50.
