Fisker Karma - The Sports Sedan

Fisker Karma, the hybrid sports sedan is a production of Fisker Automotive. It started its production in the year 2011 to 2012.These cars started manufacturing in Finland (Valmet Automotive).

The EPA, Environmental protection Agency of United States rated the combined city fuel at 4.5L per 100 km which is equal to MPG-e in electric mode. It goes up to 20 mpg-US in only gasoline mode. The official electric ranges up to 51 km. Only because of the tiny cabin interiors, EPA rated Karma as sub compact car.

The news about its launch

Fisker Karma missed its first launch which was going to take place in the year 2009. Launch was scheduled and cancelled many times and then finally the first delivery was carried in U.S. in 2011. The deliveries to the retail customers started in 2011, November.

In 2011, the price of U.S. for basic models started at US$102,000 and for top model the price range starts at US$116,000.

Throughout the end of 2012, 1,800 units got delivered in Europe as well as North America. Due to few financial issues, production was cancelled in the month of November in 2012. After furloughing the US workers, Karma hired a proper law firm to build possible bankruptcy.
