Fiat Strada: Things To Know Before Purchasing

Fiat Strada is a super mini car, first manufactured in the year 1996. The car was based on the Palio and produced in Brazil and marketed all over the world.

Strada was launched in the year 1996 as the cargo member of “178 project”. It is a commercial derivative to Uno. It features cargo space of around 1770 mm and maximum loading capacity of up to 700 kgs.

The Mark IV model was unveiled in the year 2009 and put on sale by the end of 2009. It shares few details from the previous Strada. For South American market, Strada was introduced in the year 2010 and this particular model was not exported to Europe.

When it comes to design, it was inspired by the Grande Punto. You can see lots of elements shared with Siena and Palio.

In the year 2010, the company had introduced the StradsCabinaDupla- the other double cab version with 4 passenger seating capacity and long wheelbase.

Engines used in the vehicle are 1.4L 16V Fire flex and 1.8L 16V ecotec Flex for the diesel versions. You can also see a 1.3L 16V multijet unit that can deliver 86 horsepower. Strada was re-launched in the year 2012 in Italy, and few other European markets.

For additional versatility on demanding conditions, Adventure versions come with E-locker- standard e-locking differential. Speaking with respect to comfort, Strada comes with long list of features and optional equipment to customize the vehicle, including climate control system, radio with CD player, leather steering wheel, sun roof, and alloy rims.
