Dodge Stratus: Finest American Car

Dodge Stratus was represented at 1994 Detroit and Los Angeles Motor Show. It is more advanced and modified than its predecessor – the Spirit. It is considered to be one of the first popular cars which have been created under the cab-forward scheme meaning that in this case a lounge becomes shifted forward. The cat is equipped with a transverse engine layout and a front-wheel drive system.

The car is characterized by European exterior design, simple interior and an attractive sporty look. It can easily compete with the most famous cars in this sector.

The car is not big. Its trim is made of hard plastic. It features adjustable sears.

Speaking about the instrument panel, it should be mentioned that it is quite ascetic where black frosted glass conceals indicator lights. The basic model is equipped with electric windows, air-conditioner, 2 airbags, ABS front disc brakes and electric door mirrors.

The car is provided with a choice of the following engines: 2 four-cylinder engines (2.0 l/132 h.p. and 2.4 l/152 h.p.) and a six-cylinder engine capacity of 2.5 liters with 170 h.p. All of them have a sporty look and powerful engines.

In 2002 the shape of the front air intake of the car was significantly modified and improved. The interior preserved its previous look.

The basic versions include R / T, ES, SE and SXT. All of them have great mechanics and specifications.
