Citroen C8: The Problems You Should Know
Citroen C8 was introduced at the 2002 Motor Show which took place in Geneva. It can easily compete with the Evasion model produced by PSA Peugeot Citroen in cooperation with Fiat in 1994. It boasts with comfort, practicality and reliability. The car has been created on the basis of a minivan and is perfect for big families. There is enough space for passengers and luggage. It features both modern and original look. It is characterized by availability of impressive vertical "garland" rear lights and large integrated headlights.
Speaking about center console, it should be mentioned that it includes visual display with large buttons for remote climate control and "stick" transmission. There are extra fans for those in the cabin. The car also provides 4-zone climate control. CD-player and console radio are hidden behind folding curtain. There are also 3 boxes with 2 extra caps on top of the front panel.
The seat of the driver is quite high featuring prefect ergonomics. It is easily adjustable for comfortable accommodation and steering.
By removing all seats except the front ones, you’ll get a lot of room for any cargo you should carry offering 2948 liters of free space. A dedicated cargo net is located in the trunk too. The interior looks great and is in harmony with the overall appearance of Citroen C8.
The car is provided with a choice of engines, including two turbo-diesel HDi - 2,0 l/110 h.p. and 2.2 l/136 h.p. and three petrol of 2.0 l/138 h.p., 2.2 l/160 h.p. and 3,0 V6/208 h.p.
Using a 3-litre engine, the car can easily accelerate up to 100 km / h in 11 sec. Its maximum speed rate reaches 211 km / h. There is an automatic transmission offered.
The basic version is equipped with Parktronic, the drop sensor for tire pressure system, 6 airbags, ABS c EBD and a stabilization system ESP.
