BMW Z3: The Audio Upgrades
BMW Z3 is the 1st modern mass-market roadster from the automaker and it was the first car from the company to get assembled in the US. BMW manufactured Z3 and Z specifically for German customers.
Z3 was introduced at a video press by BMW North America on June 12th, 1995 and released as a 1996 model. Later on, Z3 was featured in a James Bond movie - Golden Eye in the year 1995, and garnered loads of attention. Karen Sortito created a special BMW campaign for this particular movie. We all know that the movie was number one and with this publicity its sales figures went sky-rocketing. The company has managed to produce almost 15,000 roadsters to date ever since is launch.
BMW had produced similar kind of models before introducing the roadster as well. However, the production run ended in 2002. Z3 was replaced by new Z4 introduced for the first time in the year 2002 at the Paris Auto Show. The Z series roadsters are considered as successor of BMW 507.
New Sport Package for 3.0i roadster includes sport seats, heated mirrors, mesh-front air intake, and a new brushed-aluminum console trim. And, the new Z4 continues to carry the legacy of Z3 forward.
