Audi TT: Sportier Than Ever

Promoted by Volkswagen Group, Audi TT is a small sports car with dual door. Audi Hungaria Motor Kftis Audi’s contributory since 1998. In Gyor, Hungary, amasses both the cars. They use body shells, which they manufacture and coat at Audi’s plant in Ingolstadt.

The dual Coupe

For both the generations, TT was always available as a dual Coupe (2+2). This twin-seated car employs repeated cohort of the Volkswagen Group A stage, commencing with the A4 (PQ34). This familiar platform is the reason why the Audi TT has indistinguishable power train and suspension structure alike its platform mates. The similarity even includes an engine, which is front-mounted and has a crosswise point of reference. The wheels in the front and the quattro four-wheel system are also similar and the front suspension is completely self-regulating and uses MacPherson support.

History with Race

It was the success at the motor racing tradition of NSU in the British Isle of Man TT (Tourist Trophy) motorcycle race that Audi TT got its popularity. It was 1911 when NSU began competing and later on, it merged with Audi.

Audi TT followed TTS, 1200TT and NSU 1000TT, the famous racecars in 1960s.

Given the performance, TT is better known as "Technology & Tradition".
