Volkswagen Amarok is seen in tests with new lighthouse

Though available in the market since 2010, the Volkswagen Amarok pickup still had no xenon headlights, which may soon change. This is because the model was seen in tests with a new optical assembly.

The prototype spotted in testing has xenon lights, and daytime running lights (DRL) LED. It is speculated that this is part of a planned facelift for the model, or may be only one option for the new Amarok.

It is expected that Volkswagen presents the new truck by next March during the Geneva Motor Show.
