Toyota expects hybrid sales reach 20% of the sale soon

"Suppliers need larger volumes to reduce the cost of specific components for plug-models in, including batteries to be larger and more capable than those used in traditional hybrid, "he said.
But against the grain of opinion comes Volkswagen CEO Martin Winterkorn, he said, the plug-in hybrid has more potential, and that the leader of the competitor could disregarding what rivals can do.
