To meet demand, the Land Rover factory operates 24 hours a day
Land Rover sales are better than ever. That's because the British brand is failing to meet all requests for purchases in the UK.
According to the brand, the factory is operating at maximum capacity, seven days a week and 24 hours a day. The most popular brand models - Range Rover and Range Rover Sport - take up to months to be delivered to their buyers. Kim McCullough, Brand Vice President, says that some orders take up to four months to be served.
The executive added saying that the wait should be reduced because the factory Land Rover is "reaching a point where we are producing a sufficient number to meet the demand."
In 2013, the Range Rover sales were up 56% with 12,221 SUVs destined only to the United States.
