The new Renault Twingo will share up to 70% of its components with the Smart ForTwo and ForFour models that were presented during the Geneva Motor Show in early March.

Daimler and Renault are jointly developing three car, which uses the same platform and the internal combustion engine of Renault. The Twingo is available with two propellers, an ESA 70 3-cylinder 1.0-liter aspirated petrol and 69 horsepower. And the other is TCe 90 3-cylinder 0.9 liter turbo with 89cv. It is speculated that Smart will offer an electric version of the models.
