Next-generation Ford Focus coupe will carry lightweight design

Ford recently took the new restyled Focus (pictured) for the Geneva Motor Show , but that has not stopped the company to talk about the next generation model.

In an interview with Edmunds portal, vice president of global product development for Ford Focus suggested that 2017 will be "sleek look of a coupe." Raj Nair refused to go into details, but said that "design is still essential. Homeowners talk about rational reasons for purchase, but a considerable percentage buy for emotional reasons, involving the style."

Little more is known about the redesigned model, but it is currently in development and will likely follow the footsteps of the current model.
