Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe features

The Mercedes-Benz revealed on Tuesday (11) S Class Coupe, days after the first official photo of the model have been conveyed. The presentation of the replacement Class CL to the public is scheduled for the Geneva Motor Show in March, and his arrival to European dealers will occur in the second half.

Visually, the S-Class Coupe holds many features originally seen in his conceptual version, shown at the last Frankfurt Motor Show, as the long hood and light-alloy wheels from 18 to 20 inches. The dimensions are 5.03 meters long (2.95 m space between axles), 1.41 m high and 1.90 m wide.

The interior of the coup? derived from the S-Class sedan, but there are changes, like the outputs of the wheel "Super Sport" and the analog clock. On the back, there are two individual seats. There are several possibilities for coating and, as an option, an LED display projecting virtual images in the driver's field of vision, allowing him to see relevant information without being distracted.

Technologically, the focus is on the MAGIC BODY CONTROL system updated, allowing the car to lean on curves in a manner similar to that adopted by bikers and skiers. Thus, the lateral acceleration is less felt by the occupants, providing a more enjoyable experience in the cabin. The function can be activated at speeds between 30 km / h and 180 km / h.

Other features of the S-Class Coupe is the air damping system, with individual settings for each bumper, and availability, as an option, headlamps with 47 Swarovski crystals (17 and 30 functioning as daytime running lights and turn signal).

Finally, on the occasion of its launch, the coupe will be equipped with 4.7 V8 engine, delivering 455 horsepower and 71.4 Nm of torque. Other engine options will be available in the future, including the 5.5 V8 biturbo 593 hp.
