Land Rover Discovery 2014 launches in Brazil
Land Rover announced on Monday, March 10, the release line 2014 Discovery. The SUV brings slight visual changes and improvements inside.
On the outside, the SUV has a new set of headlights with daytime LED lights, new grille and redesigned bumper. The alloy wheels of 19 and 20 inches were redesigned hood and changed the logo "Land Rover" with "Discovery", just above the front grille.
The interior has a new type of leather upholstery called Windsor, previously only offered on the line Range Rover. The sound system of high quality manufactured by Meridian brings up to 17 speakers and 825 watts of power. The rear seat passengers have two eight-inch screens, which work independently and with earphones wireless. Thus, you can also watch a DVD movie and tune to a channel digital TV simultaneously.
The Discovery 2014 has two diesel engine options, both 3.0-liter V6. The five-passenger version has 211 hp and 53.03 lb-ft of torque, while options with seating for seven people have 256 hp and maximum torque of 61.18 lb-ft. Both versions have eight-speed automatic transmission with sequential option exchanges.
The list of standard items includes monitoring of blind spots, the presence of vehicles within 90 degrees on the diagonal, with GPS layout in three dimensions and to a system that calculates the water depth when crossing the flooded area warning. Prices range between 254,000 and 354,200 dollars.
