Kombi Last Edition goes to Mexico

Volkswagen Brazil said on Thursday, February 20th, the export of 50 units Kombi Last Edition for Mexico.

A series of farewell wagon (which is no longer produced by the inability to receive dual airbag and ABS brakes) was launched in Brazil in September 2013, initially limited to just 600 units production. However, according to VW, the high demand for the model made the company double its production.

The Kombi Last Edition brings unique items such as two-tone paint (white and blue), with white band tires, vinyl interior trim in the same color of the body, curtains in the windows and platelets with the numbering of each of the 1,200 copies. No change was made in 1.4 flex engine, which delivers up to 80 hp with ethanol.

Offered for 85 thousand dollars, the release was not the success expected and some units can still be found in the inventory of dealers. Some retailers even offer discounts to those who want to lead a Last Edition home.
