Ford will develop applications for cars in Brazil

Ford took the realization of Campus Party, the biggest technology event in Brazil to announce the launch of SYNC AppLink in South America The main differential system is the ability of anyone to develop applications that can be used in brand cars including those sold in the country.

"The AppLink Application Specialists offers a real chance to develop their applications with creativity and improve the lives of people in vehicles. We have a robust infrastructure to support these developers for this kind of service," said Rogelio Golfarb, vice president Corporate Affairs of Ford South America

Who wants to venture out and develop an application just enter the site Ford Developer (click here to access) and make a registration to gain access to various technical tools made to assist in the creation process. Applications can be controlled by voice, as the functions of SYNC.

The brand even promises to hold a "marathon" of developing new applications, in which participants can work on their creations, exposing them to the automaker's employees, who choose the best idea. This year's event will be held in June in the city of Dearborn, Michigan. Ford has announced that it will award the idea of ??choice with money.

This is the second year that Ford participates in the Campus Party. Currently, the brand offers the multimedia system in New Fiesta, EcoSport, Focus, Fusion and Edge models.
