Discards new BMW sedan input
BMW has no plans to launch a new sedan entry to its range. The information was revealed by Herbert Diess, chief development officer of the manufacturer, the site Wards Auto. Thus, it is discarded to produce a rival to Audi A3 Sedan and Mercedes-Benz CLA.
On the other hand, the executive confirmed the development of a convertible variant of the second series. Diess avoided setting a date, but said the model will be launched by the end of 2014, possibly with the same engine options of Series 2 Coupe.
