Concept Infiniti Q50 can be produced Eau Rouge
The concept car for Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge will hit the streets soon, as reported by the automaker after starting study to determine if the car can be produced or not.
The president of Infiniti, Johan de Nysschen, said during the Geneva Motor Show that the Q50 Eau Rouge, named after the famous bend of the Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium, is now an official project of the company.
"We have many things to evaluate, details such as harmonic vibrations result when you use an engine designed to be used in a way and is now used in another, plus the durability and practicality of the model building." Nysschen.
The concept was shown with an engine 3.5-liter, six-cylinder 'V' and two turbos generating 576 horsepower. This set, traditionally used in the GT-R, a coupe with four-wheel drive and equipped with transverse axis, will be adapted for a car with standard transmission.
