Chery Tiggo auto launches in Brazil

Chery presented on Thursday, March 13, automatic Tiggo. The car is the first Chinese model to dispense the clutch pedal sold in the Brazilian market.

The four-speed transmission was developed by Chery itself together with ACTECO, engine supplier brand. The system offers anti-skating mode (indicated to boot floors in low-grip) and option exchanges in sequential lever itself: the gears are enhanced with a touch forward and reduced with a touch back. Besides the new rates, the car has an autopilot with steering wheel controls. A light on the dashboard lights up when the system is turned off and it is always the driver releases the brake pedal.

The Tiggo has a 2.0 liter 16-valve gasoline-powered, that delivers 138 hp at 5,750 rpm and maximum torque of 18.2 lb-ft at 4,300 rpm. The list of standard items of the SUV includes air conditioning, power steering, ABS brakes with brake distribution (EBD), alloy wheels rim 16, Radio CD Player with micro-USB port, multifunction steering wheel with audio controls, fog with LEDs for daytime running lights and reverse sensor.

Posted in Uruguay, automatic Tiggo will sell for 57,990 dollars. His main rival, the Ford EcoSport, goes for 70,390 dollars in the SE version with dual-clutch transmission called Powershift by brand. For this value, it is the suv with automatic cheapest rates in the country.
