Bentley will offer plug-in hybrid in 2017

Bentley will be another automaker to enter the era of cars with plug-in hybrid. The British company confirmed that provide technology from 2017.

"In 2016, we will offer the first SUV in the luxury sector and a year later will bring the tecnlogia plug-in-hybrid to market," said CEO Wolfgang Schreiber. It is unclear which model will have this technology and no engine specifications.

"We will have hybrid versions of all of our cars," said Schreiber, which should mean that the engine with plug-in hybrid models should be added to the Bentley too.

Asked if their buyers are interested in novelty, the CEO said that "the market for luxury cars is not static. We will continue to make sure that Bentley will meet the needs of our most demanding customers."
